Mark Freeman – Joint Managing Partner. Mark graduated from Warwick University with an Honours degree in Engineering Science (civils) in 1982. He has twenty years of civil engineering and project management experience and substantial, recent experience in business process improvement, certification and standardisation in commerce in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. He has over twenty years experience in leadership and senior management positions within the military and commercial environment. Mark has lived and worked in Hong Kong, UK, Germany, Australia, Brunei and now the UAE. Between 1993 and 2004 he worked in a series of roles carrying full profit and loss responsibility and has hands-on experience of developing and running businesses in a variety of countries including many in the Middle East. For the majority of this period Mark worked within the British Standards Institution (BSI) Group in a variety of management roles from General Manager of BSI Training and Consultancy to Regional Director BSI Inspectorate. Mark joined Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as Managing Director UL (UK) Ltd in 2003 but left in 2004 to establish Lurista in the UAE. Since establishing Lurista he has worked with majors clients on a number of management assignments. Mark is a keen kayaker and sailor and competes most weekends, in Abu Dhabi, in his Hobie 18SX. Mark is resident in Abu Dhabi, UAE. email > |
