Don Fox – Partner Don brings significant relevant professional skills and experience to Lurista. Don qualified as a fighter pilot in the UK with the Royal Air Force and flew English Electric Lightning fighter planes and a variety of other aircraft before moving to rotary wing aircraft where he was involved in air sea rescue in the North Sea. He came to Abu Dhabi in 1976 and was involved in flying activities in the UAE in addition to developing and operating his own maintenance, engineering and facilities management business. More recently he has become involved in waste management and re-cycling businesses. His 34 years residence in Abu Dhabi have enabled him to actively work with many prominent members of the Emirati community and also with members of many cultures and faiths within the expatriate community. Through his maintenance business he has been actively involved with the Abu Dhabi hospitals, the mortuary and its operation for many years and he also studied embalming at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, UK. Don's knowledge of Abu Dhabi and his diverse professional background brings a wealth of practical experience and invaluable contacts to the Lurista team. email > |
